Community Outreach & Essentials
No family should have to choose between essentials. We bridge the gap through:
Rx Kids: Moms receive $1,500 during pregnancy, and babies receive $500 per month for 6 mos Apply online. https://rxkids.org/
Car seat Checks: ensure the child is safely restrained and is correctly installed and appropriate for the child’s age, weight, and height
Gleaners Partnership: Serving 100+ families at our Gleaners Food Distribution regularly to combat food insecurity in Detroit.
Back-to-School Drives: Providing students with the tools they need to succeed, from backpacks to tech.
Holiday Support: Ensuring every family can celebrate with dignity and joy.
Workforce Readiness
We provide job-readiness skill development to help individuals prepare for and succeed in the workforce.
Journey To Success Literacy: empowers families through literacy, parent leadership, and education equity, helping children and caregivers grow together.
